Rural Health Clinic's now offering Telehealth Services

Madison Parish Hospital Service District is proud to announce that during the time of COVID-19, Madison Parish Hospital Rual Health Clinic and Leonard P. Neumann Rural Health Clinic will be offering Telehealth services to it's patients. A telehealth visit is just like a regular medical appointment, except that you interact with your healthcare provider using the internet and your own smart phone, tablet or computer.
Patients wishing to utilize telehealth services will have to have registered for the patient portal, or have access to a e-mail address.
If you would like to register for the patient portal, please contact your provicers office for instructions. Once patient portal regrestration has been completed, and telehealth visit has been scheduled, your appointment will be listed on the right-hand side under the upcoming appointments section in the portal tab. To start the visit you will click on the telephone icon to start visit. Once you click telephone icon, you will select join meeting which activates the video and audio feed. Please note that the feed can only be activated 20 minutes prior to a visit. For those who do not wish to register for the patient portal, you will provide an e-mail address when scheduling your appointment with your provider's office. After appointment is scheduled you will recieve an e-mail with a link and access code to enter into telehealth services with your provider. Also, prior to your telehealth service, please read the following for consent to telehealth services.
